Luxury in Dubai – Where to Stay?

Dubai is the hot spot for luxury, from the airports, transport and of course hotels.  It’s almost guaranteed that a hotel you book in Dubai is going to maintain the luxury standard but there are some that really over step the others.  Read on to hear about my favourites across the Palm, Jumeirah Beach and Central Dubai.

Address Downtown Opposite the Burj Khalifa

Starting off strong with a chain of hotels that spread across all the top Dubai locations.  The Address chain are beautiful hotels with exceptional service and views.  My favourite locations are the Address downtown (Directly opposite the Burj and the dancing fountains), the Address …. (a short walk from Dubai Mall), the Address… (Marina, highest infinity pool). If you’re looking for relaxing accommodation in great locations, Address is perfect.

Hello Adventure

Another favourite of mine is of course Atlantis: The Palm.  Perfect for entertainment, adventure, location and luxury.  The service is incomparable and to match they have the most wonderful rooms, décor and oh… just the biggest waterpark in Dubai.  Aquaventure is ideal for families and couples, with so much to do and see across the whole hotel.

Atlantis: The Palm
Jumeriah Beach, Burj Al Arab

If water parks are on your checklist, another great hotel is the Jumeriah beach located on, you guessed it, Jumeriah Beach!  It also has its own water park, Wild Wadi, which is pretty similar to Atlantis just on a smaller scale.  The hotel is known for it’s unique architecture as it’s shaped like and wave, and looks onto another iconic hotel, the Burj Alarab which is shaped like a sail.  The two look beautiful together and are both super luxurious. The Burj Alarab being a 7 star hotel is of course the best of the best!  It has a cocktail bar looking out at sea right at the top, with the worlds most expensive cocktail, and a helicopter pad that has had world famous celebs like Tiger Woods, land and play golf on!

Now for the party animals, the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeriah is perfect for a bit more of a wild week.  It’s a hotel full of wannabe influencers getting their best party pics by the pool and looking absolutely fabulous doing so!  It has a lovely pool that sits right behind the hotels own beach, as well as bars and restaurants with that most spectacular views.  The rooms and suites are beautiful designed, modern and offer incredible sea or promenade views.

Last up is the ‘One and Only’, this is perfect hotel for a couples retreat or adults only holiday.  It’s located at the opposite end of the Palm to Atlantis, just a short drive to the Dubai Marina and has it’s own private 1km beach.  This hotel offers double rooms, suites with private pools and even beachfront villas, each of which are very luxurious and have views of the Palm beach or the Palm manor.

Websites such as Expedia give a fantastic range of Dubai hotels for all budgets and have a variety of reviews to ensure you find what you’re looking for.  But if it’s luxury you’re looking for, Dubai is the perfect place to find it.

Dubai

Currency: U.A.E Dirham

Temperature: Hot all year round, reaching 40-45 degrees Celsius between May and July, and 20-30 degrees between December and February. Very rare rainfall, would only occur in Winter months.

Best Mode of Transport: Monorail for travelling on and off the palm or taxis around the city. There's also a metro which is rather cheap.

Top Tip: Book for late summer or Winter months, it means it's just cool enough to enjoy exploring Dubai instead of being constantly drawn to the safety of air con!
