Currency: Icelandic Krona

Temperature: A cold country year round, temperatures as low as -5 in January and reaching 15 in July. Rain is common during all the seasons.

Best mode of Transport: The bus service in Iceland is really easy to use as well as fairly priced (for an expensive city). To see sights, I recommend booking tours or a private driver.

Top Tip: Take more layers that you think, the warmer you are, the more you'll enjoy the day trips.
